Registration Questions

When does registration open?

Registration is now open. Please go to the meeting page for more information. 

How do I register? 

There are two ways to register:

  • Or, you can register by USPS mail by filling out the registration form (PDF) and returning it with your check to: CALAFCO, 1451 River Park Drive, Suite 185, Sacramento, California 95815. (Please note, however, that discounts or late fees are determined by the date that payment is received - not mailed.) 

I forgot my login information. Now what?

Use the reset password feature at https://calafco.org/forgot.php.  If you do not receive an email message, check your spam filter. If you still receive nothing, please email [email protected].

Can I register if I am not a member?

Yes. You may register by selecting Guest tickets.  

Can I become a member to get the reduced prices?

Full CALAFCO membership is confined to sitting commissioners and staff of local agency formation commissions (LAFCOs). However, we also offer a more limited Associate Membership category for organizations, agencies, consulting firms, and product and service providers who provide services to, interact with, and/or support the work of LAFCOs. More information can be found on the Associate Membership page.

I registered online but lost the confirming email. Where can I find my registration information?

Log in to the CALAFCO member portal and select the "View My Orders" link found under "My Account" on the left of the Member Area homepage.

When is the CALAFCO 2024 Annual Conference?

October 16 through October 18, 2024.

Where will the CALAFCO 2024 Annual Conference be held?

The conference will be held at the Tenaya Lodge, in Fish Camp, California - just outside the boundary of Yosemite National Park. A full schedule will be released when available.

How do I reserve a room at the Tenaya Lodge?

To reserve a room at the conference block rate of $205 (plus taxes), go to https://bit.ly/2024CALAFCOConference

PLEASE NOTE that rooms are available at the specially negotiated hotel rate only through September 15, 2024, and subject to availability.

What health and safety policies are in place for the CALAFCO 2024 Annual Conference?

The health and safety of our members, guests, and staff is always a top priority and we want everyone to feel safe and comfortable. We understand that members and participants may still be concerned about the spread of certain illnesses and they are welcome to take precautions, such as wearing a mask indoors. 

 

Changes/Cancellation Questions

How do I change an existing registration?

Log-in to the CALAFCO Member Portal, select "My Orders" under the "My Account" link. If you need assistance locating your order, please email Jeni Tickler.

Can I transfer my registration? 

Registration fees may be transferred to another person not already registered, providing that the request is received in writing by October 11, 2024. However, registration fees for guests and special events are not transferable but may be fully refundable, less transaction and handling fees*, if written requests are received by October 1, 2024.

Can I cancel my registration?

Registrations are considered complete upon receipt of fees. However, written cancellation requests which are received by October 1, 2024, are fully refundable, less transaction and handling fees. 

Cancellation requests must be submitted by email to [email protected] and received by October 1, 2024. Cancellation requests made after October 1, 2024 are not eligible for a refund.

Credits are not issued for any cancellations.
