Associate Membership
CALAFCO Associate Members include organizations, agencies, consulting firms, and service providers that work with, support, or have an interest in California’s LAFCO community and local government services.
Many Associate Members work directly with LAFCOs, special districts, cities, counties, and other local agencies throughout California in areas such as planning, infrastructure, environmental services, municipal finance, mapping, governance, public engagement, legal services, and technology.
Associate Members are an important part of CALAFCO’s statewide professional community. They participate in conferences, workshops, webinars, sponsorships, and educational programs throughout the year, and many have longstanding professional relationships within the LAFCO community. Their participation helps support CALAFCO’s educational programs, legislative program, statewide coordination efforts, and member services.
Some Associate Members are also local agencies and public organizations that use CALAFCO programs as part of their ongoing staff training and professional development efforts. Associate Membership provides reduced registration rates for conferences, workshops, webinars, and other educational programs, while helping staff stay connected to statewide LAFCO issues and discussions.
For many organizations, Associate Membership is also a practical way to stay connected to the people and issues shaping local government services throughout California. Membership provides opportunities to build professional relationships, stay informed about LAFCO issues and trends, and maintain visibility within the statewide LAFCO community.
Whether your organization already works with LAFCOs or is interested in becoming more involved, Associate Membership offers a way to stay informed, engaged, and connected statewide.
